Enabling Students with Smart Class Education

Sanskrit Paathshala ( Laphthang Village) and Government Primary Schools ( Takshang Kaizaley)  are established in the respective villages providing education to almost 110 students. The schools were in urgent need of renovation and supply of essentials in order to fetch benefit to more students.

Intervention & Impact

A key initiative by the Holistic Rural Development Programme supported by HDFC Parivartan, initiated by renovating the school's building followed by painting infographics and mural paintings (alphabets and literature on the wall). This was again followed by setting up Smart Classes in the schools which included the installation of Desktop, Projector & Accessories, whiteboard, etc. The schools were not only renovated in terms of infrastructure but also in terms of digital learning where students could now understand the subject in all possible dimensions using a projector to see visual learning modules.

Team Citizen Foundation not only installed those gadgets but also gave them initial training on how to use them for teaching.

Now, the Teaching staff and the authority of schools have planned to teach students in audio-visual procedure subjects like science, geography, etc., and would introduce a new way of learning in the remote villages.

Not only that, Slowly the organization has planned to increase the installation of such smart classes in more schools with the support of HDFC Parivartan.

Introducing the children from the advanced interface of Education to update them with modern ways of learning along with renovated and facilitating infrastructure.
